They'll stick by to a company who's good in processor field with stocks widely available. They dumped Motorola & IBM in the past it's because Motorola didn't make their chips massively & widely available which caused Apple several times production shortage & behind schedule almost every time a new model was launched. IBM was ditched bcuz they're interested in producing PPC chips ONLY for their servers & not providing a lot to Apple. Apple research on it’s own processor is
